Speech Response

I thought the speech only helped a small percentage of America's students."He repeatedly urged students to work hard and stay in school."(CNN). To me these things aren't new any responsible adult could tell me those lessons. I thought that this could be different for students who are producing poor grades and mights be inspired by the president saying the words of wisdom that might not have meant much coming from their parents mouths. I thought the overall speech had good ideas. According to CNN,"Amy Veasley, a parent from the Dallas, Texas, area, said Monday that she was surprised by the controversy". I however am not. There are always going to be people that don't agree. There is always that percentage who would rather have the Bass Master fishing tournament on ESPN instead of the Superbowl. Overall the speech was an awesome thing.
